Dear Friends of Midvalley Bible Church,
The Midvalley Bible Church has enjoyed the rich blessing of
God in the Salt Lake valley for many years. It has faced countless
challenges and has realized God's provision on every occasion. We are
writing you because Midvalley has played a significant role in your life.
Some of you live close by, others far away. For some of you this has been
your church home, contributing significantly to your spiritual formation as a
child. Some of you are related to loved ones who are still involved with
the church. Today, Midvalley continues to impact the lives of people.
In the Fall of 2000 God enabled us to buy 9+ acres of land in
the last frontier of Salt Lake County--Bluffdale. The land is debt free,
our plans have been approved, and we are committed to building our future
facility there. We thought you would want to be informed and given the
opportunity to participate in making the dream of Midvalley Bible Church a
reality. Because of what God has placed before us, we are embarking on a
capital fund campaign. Through this campaign we desire to raise $450,000
over the next three years. This will enable us to begin building, perhaps
as early as this fall. Unless you object, in the next two months, we will
mail you some information which will answer questions and tell about ways you
might consider being involved with us in this adventure.
Of source, we would also like for you to worship with us
whenever possible at the Jenkins-Soffe Chapel, 1007 West 10550 South, but our
"Major Event" is planned for April 11. We would especially ask
you to reserve that evening for our complimentary banquet at "The Gathering
Place."
The Bluffdale area is destined for explosive growth, and we
believe God is giving us an opportunity to be there when it happens. Ours
will be the first non-LDS church in that community. Whenever God presents
challenges before His people, it becomes an opportunity to see Him work in a way
that will both overwhelm us and stretch our faith. God is pleased when His
people increase their confidence in Him by trusting Him for what seems
impossible.
A fellow Adventurer,
