Everything is up in the air, or rather, isn't!
Ken appeared at the airport before my flight with news that the people
in Michigan are uncertain about going due to bombing in the Gaza
strip. They are to call him with a decision.
Decision is being put off repeatedly. I got my
ticket changed to standby for the later flight Ken is on today. My
bags had to be pulled off of the airplane.
Ken is driving me home. The people in Michigan
are to call him with a decision. I told him we are at Kadesh
Barnea and they are seeing Anakites.
Ken called to say the decision is being postponed
until they can meet in a couple of hours. We will go to the
airport and wait for their call.
The call came and they have decided to postpone the
decision until tomorrow. Ken and I are going ahead to Chicago,
anyway, since the earliest flight tomorrow would be too late.
After arriving at Midway about 11:20 pm we had to walk
almost 3/4 mile to get our baggage. Ken's brother, David, picked
us up. I started this trip with a bad shin splint, which
I've had for several days. My leg is aching again after
carrying the bag that far at a fast pace. I had elevated it on the
plane from St. Louis, but it's swelling again. Each day is a
little better.
